What is the client cancellation and refund policy?

Should the client elect, for whatever reason, to cancel this agreement, the client hereby agrees to provide a written notice of intent to cancel. There shall be no refund of the deposit and any additional payments made will be considered payment for services rendered to date. XtraOrdinary Events will also provide a prompt accounting and billing of services to date, including, but not limited to, booking fees for vendors booked to date, reimbursement for any items purchased on behalf of the client and any other applicable charges for payment in full.

If XtraOrdinary events, LLC is unable to attend events, or complete the contract due to illness, tragedy, “Acts of God” or “Force Majeure”, XtraOrdinary events, LLC will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide a replacement with capabilities and experience to finish the tasks.

All cancellations to this contract requires written notification either by mail or email. Down-grading services once this agreement has been signed by both parties will not be honored.

XtraOrdinary events, LLC  hereby reserves and retains the right to cancel any and all  services with or without cause by providing written notice to the client.  In the event a planner elects to terminate this agreement, a prorated amount of the funds received will be refunded to the client within 45 days of notice of termination.

Do you service events outside of Richmond, VA.?

We service all surrounding areas such as DC, Maryland, Charlottesville, and Hampton Roads. There is a $250 per day travel fee outside of the Richmond area to cover mileage and lodging.

What is required to hire XtraOrdinary Events?

All clients are required to sign a contract. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of the contract signing. The remaining 50% balance is due 45 days prior to the event. If services are booked less than 45 days payment in full is required. 

Can we make payment plans?

Yes, as long as your balance is paid in full 45 days prior to the event. 

How many people are on your staff the day of an event?

This varies based on the amount of guest. Typically, there will be one event planner and one assistant. 

Do you plan destination weddings/events?

 Yes, additional fees may apply.
